In 1981 Fluorescent lamp production started in a new building with separate organization for GLS factory, new T.L group was installed with a speed of 1200 lamps/ hour, after that year, new production group was added to produce the T.L.D lamps which saves 10% the energy used with the same lighting intensity as T.L type, the management put an improvement plan to increase productivity of the factory to 8.5 million lamps/year by working in two shits, it could also increased to be 12 million by working three shifts.
