Appliances factory has started its operations in August 1983. The development of the product mixes through last 15 years is listed below: |

of 10.5 feet (300 Ltr) refrigerator |

of Deep freezer (220 Ltr) |
| 1987 | Production of Top loading washing M/c, which was presented for the first time in Egypt by us . |
| 1988 | Production of front loading washing M/C. |
| 1989 | For facing increasing market demand for our products, the factory was moved to Bourg El Arab and the production capacity has been increased . |
| 1993 | At
that time, the local integration ratio for Washing M/c started with 32% and reached more
than 50% now. For refrigerators, the current local integration ratio reached 75%. |
| 1996 | Production for third parties under their trade names. |
| 1998 | Production of CFC - FREE refrigerators which cause no damage to the ozone layer. |
The MDA factory is considered a model factory from technology, quality control over different manufacturing stages, ,no of workers, and highest quality standards perspectives that are guaranteed by producing under Patent License of Whirlpool Europe s.r.l.
The activity also is ISO 9002 certified since 1994.
